History and Locations
eChem is a private chemical company that began trading on 1st May 2000 from its headquarters in the United Kingdom. The company was formed as a result of a management buyout from a major chemical company and is wholly owned by its management and employees. Our site in Leeds, in the north of England, has a long history of chemical manufacture. It has operated under the ownership of a number of prominent multinational companies over many years.
In addition, we opened a second manufacturing facility on a green field site in Lufkin, Texas, near the US Gulf Coast in May 2004 and can now service customers throughout the EU and the Americas.
Both eChem sites are ISO 9001:2000 certified.
