Whatever the system, solvent-free, solvent-based or water-based, we can offer advice and products to solve problems or formulate for the perfect coating. Our experience and technology provides the foundation for expert advice for all aspects of surface coatings.
Our main product lines are defoamers, plasticisers and a selection of surface-active dispersants and emulsifiers. We also have a new group of low VOC coalescing agents, wax-based slip and water-proofing agents.
The defoamers are both mineral and vegetable oil based for both in-process and end performance defoaming as well as polymer stripping
The plasticisers are all ester based comprising sebacates, benzoates and citrates; the emphasis being on biodegradability and use of renewable feedstocks.
The surface-active agents include a full range of PEG esters having application as disperents and emulsifiers. They have enjoyed renewed interest in recent times because of their low toxicity and the benefits associated with labelling constraints on competitive materials.
For pigment dispersing, including anti flooding/floating we have a number of additives. Of special interest is our range of phosphate esters especially of use in high pigment loaded formulations.
Current developments in hand centre on new dispersants for both water and non-water based coatings and reactive emulsifiers where the raw materials are from fully renewable sources
