For the processing of PVC, we have a full range of internal and external lubricants. Backed by laboratory test facilities and expert technical support, we can solve the rheological problems of PVC processing, allowing the formulator to produce high quality products ranging from window profiles to bottles and packaging sheet.
In stabilisers, we have a range of liquid Ca/Zn and Ba/Zn one-packs for the cable, wall covering and flooring industry.
There is also a range of PVC plasticisers with special emphasis on expoxidised soya bean oil and esters, dibasic esters of sebacic acid, tributyl citrates and monoalkyl benzoates. For reduced extractability and migration, we have developed some ester polymeric plasticisers.
Other effect additives supplied and PVC are ester based viscosity depressants and anti-fogging agents for plastisols
Additive masterbatches are also being offered by eChem as free-flowing non-dusting granules. Such masterbatches contain combinations of lubricants, process aids and metal soaps in various ratios, simplifying logistics for the processor as well as reducing airbourne dusting problems
For non-PVC applications, wehave an effective list of lubricants, release agents and anti-stats for both thermoplastics and thermosets
For applications where difficult to administer or heat sensitive active liquid ingredients have been chosen, their inclusion into foamed polymers can form the basis of a highly loaded masterbatch. The carrier polymer can be HDPE, LDPE, PP, EVA or PET and addition levels of up to 40% can be achieved dependent on active ingredient and carrier
